Performanze believes that working with parents is of paramount importance to each child's happiness and success. Parents are an integral part of our school community. Maintaining strong and positive relationships with them is vital if we are to help every child in our care to reach their potential. Therefore, we place an extremely high value on the relationship between parents, pupils and staff. We encourage parents to take time to get to talk to staff and ask any questions you may have. Effective communication between parents and dance is essential and we are actively investing time, finance and energy on promoting . As a mother of two small children Miss Rosie fully understands how busy it can be juggling multiple timetables and we want to make make a positive happy place for everyone.
At the end of every term we welcome parents, friends and family into class to see the children's progress and to give the opportunity for informal chats
A notice board outside the studio is there to help parents with additional information and reminder dates.
We have a WhatsApp for every individual class This is used for teachers to communicate with parents. Additionally parents can use the group to look for lost shoes or assistance with transport to/from class.
All parents have a confidential login to the school portal, through which they can access reports, letters, photographs and video footage.
The beginning of every term e-mails are used by l to send information to parents more efficiently.

The representatives act as a voice for all the parents in their year on general matters, and arrange events such as coffee mornings and social evenings, as well as ensuring that all new parents are made welcome.The Committee, which comprises the Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, Social Marketing and up to eight year representatives, meet on a regular basis to organise social events for the school community. These include annual activities such as the Dance Disco, Christmas Fayre and the end of year Summer Fun Day, as well as other occasional events such as Film Nights for the children. As a result of the funds raised, the children have benefitted from additional dance equipment, tumble tracks, and a vast array of new and exciting costumes.
